EASA Part 145 Line Maintenance Service Provider


SO Tech was founded in 2008 and received its EASA Part 145 approval in January 2009. Within 2 months of receiving EASA Part 145 approval our dedicated and skilled team had opened two fully functional line stations in Iceland and Belgium.

Since 2008 SO Tech has seen a steady and strong growth within the aviation industry as our approvals and capabilities continue to grow.

We are proud to have served numerous clients around the globe with our dedicated and flexible services at locations such as Russia, China, New Guinea, Iceland, Belgium and the Dominican Republic.


SO Tech has been fully incorporated into the AISG Group (Aviation Integrated Service Group: in 2019 with the intention of expanding globally.

Management Team


Roberto E. Polles
Roberto has worked in the Aviation Industry for over 42 years. Starting at the airline operation engineering level at Aerolineas Argentinas, he moved to manufacturing engineering and has occupied a variety of management positions from Maintenance Engineering Manager, to Heavy Maintenance Manager and finally to Technical Director of several major airlines operating the B777, B767, B737, A330, A320.
David Guðnason
Technical Director
David has worked in the Aviation Industry for over 20 years both in Line Maintenance and Base Maintenance for Air Atlanta Icelandic, WOW airlines and the Icelandair group.

David has held positions as Quality Manager and Production Manager and has also worked for several years as Manager Technical Training.
Claudia López
Claudia has been working in the aviation industry for more than 20 years. She started her professional career with several positions in finance and administration at American Airlines. For the last 15 years, Claudia has worked for a major line maintenance organization in Latin America. She holds an MBA degree and a BS in Industrial & Systems Engineering.
Baldvin Arnason
Quality Manager
Baldvin is an experienced engineer with a demonstrated work history in various fields of aviation. He started his professional career as an engineer at Icelandair performing base and line maintenance. Since then he has worked with companies such as Sabena technic, ATC Lasham, DHL, WOW air and ADGlobal. Baldvin has worked as a certified engineer, lead technician and performed CAMO and part M duties such as structures engineer, parts administration, reliability, continued airworthiness, aircraft purchase/lease Transition and project management.
